Celebrating 30 years in 2025, 3tentos operates in Rio Grande do Sul and Mato Grosso, offering diverse solutions to over 24,000 clients, with an extensive range of agricultural inputs, grains, and industrial products. We currently have 69 stores and three industrial plants.
Listed on the stock exchange since July 2021, we have over 26,000 shareholders. In the first nine months of 2024, our net revenue reached R$9 billion.
Our business model fosters long-term relationships with farmers, providing inputs, training, consulting, and technical services to enhance productivity. Our financial support program, TentosCap, further assists farmers.
Inclusion in the ICO2 index recognizes our sustainability efforts and commitment to reducing carbon emissions. In 2022, we launched the Carbon Seal program, where farmers share property and production data. Our experts assess efficiency, measuring carbon input and CO2 output per ton of soybean produced.
By 2023, 400 farmers voluntarily joined the program, resulting in:
- 6 million tons of CO2 sequestered in soybean cultivation areas
- 1.6 million tons of CO2 sequestered in legal reserves and permanent preservation areas
"Our inclusion in the ICO2 index is a testament to our sustainability commitment," said CEO Luiz Osório Dumoncel. "The agricultural sector has vast potential to reduce GHG emissions, demonstrated by our Carbon Seal program."
Key findings:
- Low carbon footprint among Rio Grande do Sul farmers (576 kg CO2eq/ton of grain)
- Significant carbon sequestration (48.80 tC/ha)
"This reflects our farmers' environmental awareness and adoption of sustainable practices, such as direct planting, crop rotation, and soil coverage," added William Jandrey, Carbon Specialist at 3tentos.
