What is a Digital Certificate?
The Digital Certificate is a digital identity document for individuals and companies. With the certificate, the rural producer is able to make online transactions with the same security as a face-to-face transaction. This is because the General Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 13.709/2018) guarantees privacy protection and prevents companies from using data for their own benefit.
In the state of Rio Grande do Sul, SEFAZ (Secretariat of Finance) is the agency that manages the issuance of Electronic Invoices (NF-e). Currently, it is not mandatory for all rural producers to issue e-Invoices, however, with each passing year the digitalization increases, and with this, more and more producers are adapting and modernizing their processes.
With this in mind, 3tentos established a partnership with SafeWeb, a company from Rio Grande do Sul, a specialist in issuing Digital Certificates. Digital Certificates have been issued at 3tentos units and also at partner farmers' rural properties, since October 2020.
Benefits and solutions that the Digital Certificate can provide
Security is one of the most important features of the Digital Certificate, this technology is based on advanced encryption and protection protocols, which makes it extremely reliable.
When performing any virtual transaction, based on the Digital Certificate, the chances of fraud are very low, compared to written signature or mechanical authentication.
Legal validity
Just like in a notary office, where the rural producer performs the notarization through the authentication of documents. The Digital Certificate has equivalent legal validity, therefore, it is already a trend of new management and production models.
Farmer with digital certificate in 3tentos App
By accessing the application, the rural producer has access to all information about his harvest, such as the volume of products he can still withdraw from the unit, the balance of grains delivered, follow the weather forecast and much more.
In addition to these benefits, currently, the rural producer does not have costs with the Digital Certificate. By linking your certificate in the application, more tools become available, including the issuance of NF-e, the possibility to fix (sell) grains, as well as the online signing of documents (notes, duplicates, etc...). In this way, we can say that digital tools have come to add up, facilitating the work and day-to-day of Brazilian agribusiness.
